Discover the Bible: Making Sense of Scripture | Pastor Aeschbacher and Jim Tejcek | Room 2107
The Bible can feel confusing, strange, and even a bit foreign at times. But it’s also a profound, timeless, and deeply meaningful book—one that has guided people in faith for centuries. It is the best-selling book of all time and one of the most quoted, studied, and debated texts in history. It contains ideas and stories that have shaped legal systems, art, music, literature, and social movements for centuries. So how do we make sense of this sacred and sometimes challenging text today? Everyone is welcome to join Pastor Steve for a friendly, intro-level survey of the Bible—its origins and structure, the story it tells, and how its timeless wisdom can speak into our lives right now. Class runs through April 26.

Leviticus is a continuation of Exodus. God not only redeemed His people but also actively called them to draw near to Him. Often considered one of the difficult books in the Bible, it is a core text for understanding how a holy God dwells with His people. This study will explore sacrificial practices, purification laws, festivals, and the code of holiness, guiding participants to see that Leviticus is not merely ancient law but points to the gospel of Jesus Christ and the way of life for God's people. It also teaches believers today how to live out God's holiness and mission in grace and truth. This class is conducted in Mandarin for the convenience of the Mandarin speakers. Class runs through April 26.
